After Bibury we headed to Northleach, UK – a very small village with a little church and a few shops. One of the shops was an old fashioned greengrocer and a fruiterer – I wasn’t even aware “fruiterer” was a word!
Next stop was Bourton-on-the-Water, UK – another little market town with shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs all built around the river. I spotted an old fashioned van that looked like it was from a set of an old movie – a little village unaware of modernisation and the fast pace of rest of the world.
Our final stop was Stow-on-the-Wold where we had lunch before heading home.
Overall a really enjoyable weekend break and somewhere I’d definitely like to visit again!
